So far 2009 has seen songstress Aisling Quinn compose the original music for a production of Portia Coughlan by Marina Carr which enjoyed a sell out run in The New Theatre, Temple Bar. She also supported Albert Niland on his recent Irish tour.Originally from Galway Aisling moved to Dublin in 2002 to complete a years course in music production. She went on to release her demo in 2004 to positive reviews.In the following years Aisling began to expand her range of instruments and her follow-up EP, A Simple Arrangement released in 2007 showcased her on piano, vocals, flute and also on occassion, violin.With plans to release her debut album later this year Aisling is currently back recording in the studio.
